“I love working with children because it opens my heart with things. I love to watch children learn and grow. I like to understand children as people, not just children who need to be supervised. I know how to talk and listen to children so that they know what they have to say is important. I have good patience to stay strong and positive with children. I am very responsible , fun-loving and have the greatest respect for everybody.”

“I have been caring for children since I was very young and it has always been something that I felt came very naturally and that brought me a lot of happiness. I believe that children carry an abundance of knowledge and that we need to be listening to them, even in moments when we feel challenged by them. I enjoy being able to have conversations with them, doing arts and crafts/theatre with them, and cooking together. I think what makes me a good childcare provider is that I have experience working with a variety of age groups, ranging from toddlers to teenagers. Having worked with a variety of age groups has exposed to different ways of addressing problems with behavior, encouraging accountability, and developing age appropriate activities. Lastly I care deeply about advocating for the safety and respect of the children that are present not only in our homes, but also in every community that we are a part of.”
